The Brussels Musical Instrument Museum, MIM (Dutch: Muziekinstrumentenmuseum van Brussel), founded in 1877, is one of the most important musical instrument museums in the world. Its collections include more than eight thousand instruments, of which more than one thousand two hundred are exhibited in the rooms of the museum.
The museum, which welcomes more than 125,000 visitors each year, has the largest non-specialized collection of instruments in the world and is the fourth department of the Royal Museums of Art and History of Brussels.
